On October 23 and 24 in Washington DC, the Green Business Network members and staff are staging Green Business Seminars at the 7th annual Green Festival. Business-related workshops and seminars will feature financing, marketing, and a particularly important issue, partnering. This event will allow participants to network with other business leaders.

Green Festival is the capital region’s premier sustainability event, a joint project of Global Exchange and Green America. It is one of the largest sustainability events in the world and continues to grow each year.

Green Festival puts sustainable community on display. The festival’s solutions contribute both economically and environmentally to sustainable living. Individuals, along with business and community leaders are addressing critical sustainability issues in the US and abroad. Organizations and businesses showcase programs and products and connections are formed that empower people to create positive change in the world.

Green Festival screens exhibitors for their commitment to sustainability, ecological balance and social justice using Green America’s green business standards.Admission is free for green business leaders. For more details, a schedule of speakers, events, and exhibitors see the Green Festivals Programming Guide.
