Arbor Day Business Partners

To honor their 50th anniversary, Enterprise Rent-A-Car formed a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 50 million trees over 50 years. This is a gift that
not only commemorates their history, but celebrates the future. To read about the partnership click here. Arbor Day has also partnered with 12 other companies.

Since 2008, Blooms Today has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and
made possible the planting of over 75,000 trees in our nation’s forests through
their Trees of Tribute – Plant a Tree program.

Bota Box wines has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation
since 2009 to plant trees in our nation’s forests. In addition to donating a
portion of sales during the month of April, they donate $1 for every new
Facebook fan. They also give away gift trees at various retail locations. To

The Arbor Day Foundation is pleased to join forces with Brother International
Corporation to plant trees in forests in the United States and Canada, and help
preserve precious rain forest land in Central and South America. To learn more

Disney’s Friends for Change: The Arbor Day Foundation’s
reforestation program has been selected to receive a $350,000 grant from The
Walt Disney Company as a recipient of funding through Disney’s Friends for

Deere & Company is the exclusive lawn care and general
maintenance equipment provider for
Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City,
Nebraska. Through an equipment lending program started in 2000, Deere &
Company provides tractors and general maintenance vehicles used to beautify and
increase the productivity of the 260-acre property, which is visited by
thousands of visitors, families, students and conference attendees each year.
Committed to environmental responsibility, John Deere was awarded the Arbor Day
Foundation’s Promise to the Earth Award in 2003.

Project Plant It is a community effort to educate children,
plant trees, and improve the environment. Created by Dominion, it is a
partnership effort with the Arbor Day Foundation. Each year Dominion sends tens
of thousands of Arbor Day Foundation Gift Trees to elementary school children
across the country.

Humana Since 2008, Humana has partnered with the Arbor Day
Foundation to plant trees on behalf of each member that signs up for electronic
notifications on the MyHumana website. The company donates $1 to the Arbor Day
Foundation to support the planting of trees in our nation’s forests. 


As part of their Pink Doing Green campaign, Mary Kay, Inc. has partnered with
the Arbor
Day Foundation to restore our nation’s forests and to provide life
changing programs to children affected by domestic violence. In addition to
planting 200,000 trees, Mary Kay has funded eight Nature Explore Outdoor
Classrooms in domestic violence centers across the country. This positive action
taken today will have everlasting impact on our environment, changing the
quality of life for future generations.  

For over ten years Toyota has been a supporter of many educational programs
that the
Foundation has to offer. Most recently, Toyota has helped the Arbor
Day Foundation to launch a new program – Tree Campus USA – to
introduce our mission to a new audience.

The Arbor Day Foundation has once again received a grant from the UPS
Foundation to plant trees in our nation’s forests and to support urban
reforestation through Tree Based Energy Conservation programs.

Since 2010, Wells Fargo has
partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in honor of customers who
switch to paperless statements. In 2012, the company will help plant 50,000
trees in our nation’s forests. To date, Wells Fargo has helped to plant more
than 133,000 trees in forests of greatest need.

Over the next two years, Wyndham Vacation Ownership will be purchasing for its
timeshare properties more than 600,000 pounds of shade-grown Peruvian coffee
grown on farms certified by Rain Forest Alliance. Wyndham has also partnered
with the Arbor Day Foundation in promoting tree planting by their guests and
employees through memberships to the Arbor Day Foundation.
