Each year National Wildlife Federation’s (NWF) Campus Ecology program publishes case studies
contributed by its members and partners showcasing their campus
sustainability practices and global warming solutions for the past
school year (2011-2012).  NWF will release these illustrated reports in
Fall 2012 in their online searchable case study database (see bottom of page for links).

This year is the 23rd Annual call for submissions from NWF which invites students to submit a case studies on their campus sustainability efforts and green jobs training programs. The August 31, 2012 deadline is rapidly approaching but it is not too late to submit your entry now.

Schools are welcome to submit more than one case study if
you are working on multiple projects in different areas of
sustainability and green workforce development. Case studies can focus
on completed projects/programs or ones still in development.

NWF’s Campus Ecology case study database is accessed nationwide by hundreds of students, faculty & staff. These case studies will be be shared with our contact list of more than 25,000 students, faculty and staff, plus our social media networks. Documentation of your efforts will appear in a searchable database (searchable by topic, state, year and school); the database currently has more than 650 case studies. This Fall there will be a national press release promoting the 2012 case studies.

Take these steps to submit a case study:

Step 1:

Review the 2011-2012 Case Study Guidelines and Use the Template to Create your Case Study; Campuses are welcome to submit more than one case study on multiple topics:

On-Campus Sustainability Initiatives (Word)

Green Workforce Training Programs (Word)

Step 2:

Submit case studies, photos, and image release forms to campus@nwf.org.

Colleges and universities throughout the U.S. have made great strides toward addressing global warming pollution and protecting wildlife and habitat. We invite you to share your success stories, and let other campuses learn from you!

Submission deadline has been extended to August 31, 2012. There are case study guidelines and a template (to help you begin) at the above link.
