European Forum on Eco-innovation 2012 (Event)

The 13th European Forum on Eco-innovation brokerage event will take place on November 26 and 27, in Lisbon, Portugal. The DG-Environment of the European Commission, and the Portuguese Environment Agency will organize the 13th European Forum on Eco-innovation dedicated to the “Developing new markets for Eco-Innovation – with special focus on Water”. This event is supported by tree European networks for research, policy and partnerships, namely: Eco-Innovera – boosting eco-innovation through co-operation in research and dissemination; Ecopol – public innovation partnership for better policies and instruments in support of eco-innovation; and Environmental-NCP-Together – promoting partnerships and co-operating to improve their effectiveness.

The 13th EcoAP Forum main objective is to bring together key stakeholders at European and international level in order to encourage the sharing of ideas for the eco-innovation in the water sector.

A Brokerage Event (BE) will be organized by the Portuguese FP7 Promotion Office of the Foundation for Science and Technology (GPPQ/FCT) an supported within the project ENV-NCP-TOGETHER.

The Brokerage Event (BE) has as main objective to promote the participation in FP7 namely under the environment theme, through the promotion of bilateral meetings. This event offers an opportunity to meet potential collaboration partners, as well as sharing ideas, methodologies, and approaches in order to encourage new collaborative project proposals.

This event will promote collaborative partnerships for submitting proposals under the FP7 R&D funding instruments, namely the Call Water 2013 INNO&DEMO (deadline is April 4, 2013) that represents a key instrument to support the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Water and the ECO-INNOVERA 2nd Joint Call on R&D will be launched in January 2013.
