Event – Supply Chain Sustainability Forum & Networking Luncheon

The Supply Chain Sustainability event will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM (EDT) at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Slaughter Hall – CIMS Conference Center, 111 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, New York. The event will address sustainability from a suppliers point of view. It will specifically address what customers want. The event is sponsored by the New York State
Pollution Prevention Institute in partnership with Nixon Peabody LLP. 

This event will be attended by NYS businesses. It will offer a dynamic morning of insight, discussion, and networking sustainable procurement professionals focusing on how to increase market share and revenue while reducing costs and environmental impacts.

The program will feature advice and best practices from major purchasers like Staples, IBM, government entities, and others with leading sustainability programs.

The keynote speaker will be Mark Buckley the Vice President of Environmental Affairs at Staples, Inc.

Panel Speakers include Lou Ferretti, IBM Corp.; Jeff LaBarge, Nixon Peabody, LLP; and others

Following a panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to choose two break-out sessions where sustainability and procurement professionals will discuss their program and their supply chain needs. Be prepared for interactive discussions with sustainability leaders.

· Network with others who can help promote your business within their supply chain

· Get tips on how to start implementing sustainability practices within your own business
