In mid-November, Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine announced their green award winners for 2013. Companies were selected based on their inculcation of sustainability into their supply chain strategy. These companies have demonstrated measurable sustainability goals within their own operations and/or supply chains, in the areas of Sourcing/Procurement, Fulfillment/Logistics, Operations, Product Lifecycle Management and other areas of the supply chain.

The awards also recognize providers of supply chain solutions and services assisting their customers in achieving measurable sustainability goals.

The magazine’s editorial staff selected winners based on the following three criteria:

  1. Clarity and Content of the goals and strategy
  2. The extent of the steps being taken
  3. The impact of the results to date
