A meeting of the G20 got underway on Saturday November 15 in Australia. Despite Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s desire to keep climate change off the agenda, comments from UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon and US President Barack Obama made it hard to ignore. In a speech at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Obama made it clear that he wants to see action on climate change. He also announced 3 billion pledge for the UN’s Green Climate Fund.
