2015 Product and Project Awards (Environmental Leader)

In April Environmental Leader announced the winners of their 2015 Product & Project Awards. These Awards recognize and honor companies making the biggest difference in the field of energy, environmental and sustainability management. These original and successful projects and products achieve EL’s high standards in terms of contribution to energy and environmental efforts, innovation, efficiency and reliability, and contribution to the bottom line. These companies are among those that are making the biggest difference in the field.

The report at the bottom of this page showcases award winners with the aim of helping other companies to make informed decisions about what products to purchase or what sorts of initiatives to implement.

“I’m amazed at the depth and breadth of submissions we have seen this year,” he said. “They run the gamut from the highly granular (e.g. addressing very specific emissions sources) to the high-level (e.g. helping companies automate overall sustainability and environmental compliance requirements). Many of the submissions related to thoughtful and creative products and services… [One] thing is clear: the quality, focus and comprehensiveness of sustainability solutions is accelerating year over year,” said judging coordinator, Paul Leavoy of LNS Research.
“[It is] amazing and also encouraging to see how far businesses across the spectrum have come in terms of developing unique, progressive, and innovative products, service, projects, and solutions.” He added, “Businesses continue to emphasize the role of sustainability and environmental responsibility across their products and projects and to innovate accordingly, and this is a trend we expect will only expand throughout 2016 and into the next decade. I look forward to seeing what the future brings.”
