Columbia University’s Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy is a one year program that teaches students to use scientific data to inform sustainability decision-making. This is the only program of its kind to combine the study of management and policy analysis with applied environmental science.
Almost 700 people have graduated from this program and they are now leading professionals in business, government and civil society
Students study at both Columbia’s School of International and Public affairs – one of the world’s premier academic institutions – and in the Earth Institute, a university-wide research center that takes an interdisciplinary approach to addressing the world’s most important sustainability issues.
All students who apply by November 1, 2015 – the early decision application deadline – are eligible for the Dean’s Fellowship – a full tuition grant and internship – and for numerous other partial fellowships. The final application deadline is February 15, 2016.
Every year, the school hosts information sessions both online and on campus. We also welcome campus visits from prospective students. To arrange a visit to Columbia University or to connect with faculty and students, please contact Sarah Tweedie (st2745@columbia.edu)
