The 2016 Waste Management Executive Sustainability Forum will take place on Thursday, February 4 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona. Now in its sixth year, the Forum continues to build on its reputation as a perspective-changing collaborative event. The Waste Management Executive Sustainability Forum brings together sustainability focused executives to seek opportunities and solutions for economic development, social advancement, and environmental protection.

This event has a diverse and vibrant group of industry and community thought-leaders, directors, facilities managers, environmentalists and pragmatists. This uniquely collaborative, sustainability focused event, now includes a speed-networking meeting.

The topic this year is the circular economy. Rarely since the start of the Industrial Revolution have we diverted from the pattern of take-make-dispose. In the 21st century, as the linear consumption model reached is limits, the shift to a circular economy began. Along the way, organizations identified areas of real fracture within the circle that, if not addressed, could have significant consequences.

This year’s WM Executive Sustainability Forum will provide a platform to discuss how and why the circular economy is fractured. We will identify collective challenges, and approaches to overcoming these challenges through collaboration along the value chain. The goal is to facilitate meaningful conversation and for all participants to come away with ideas and partnerships to build upon.

The night before the Forum, share your expertise, learn from others and create new relationships with speed-networking. You’ll have the opportunity to make 15-minute meetings based on business profiles you and your fellow networkers fill out in advance. Before you arrive for the event, you’ll receive a personalized agenda indicating your networking partners.

Meetings and cocktails take place in the relaxed atmosphere of the Ironwood Terrace at the Four Seasons Resort. You can cancel and reschedule meetings right up to the event. Indicate your interest in networking when you RSVP for the Forum.

A private tour of the Waste Management Phoenix Open is back by popular demand. See firsthand what goes into making the most highly attended event on the PGA TOUR® a zero-waste success for three years running. We’ll walk you through the operational efficiencies, supply-chain choices, vendor engagement and market alignment programs/
