This event will take place on December, 13-15, 2016 at the Orange Country Convention Center, North and South Halls, Orlando, Florida, USA.
Renewable Energy on a Global Scale is part of Power Generation Week Event

Renewable Energy World has a proven track record as renewable energy’s leading conference. Featuring insightful discussions and presentations during technical sessions related to technology, markets, business strategies and policy covering the wind, solar, biomass, hydro, geothermal, ocean/tidal/wave, biopower, bio-fuels hydrogen and energy sectors. There has never been a better time to be a part of the exciting, ever-growing world of renewable energy! We provide a unique opportunity to network with thousands of experts about the technologies and trends on the forefront of the renewable industry’s future.

As part of Power Generation Week, attendees of the Renewable Energy World event get access to more than 1,400 companies from all sectors of the industry exhibit each year – plus exposure to more than 20,000 attendees. Displaying a wide variety of products and services, Renewable Energy World International represents a horizontal look at the renewable industry with key emphasis on new solutions and innovations for the future.

Here are just a few international-related topics that will be covered this year:

  • How Global Policy Drives Renewable Energy Development
  • Renewable Energy Markets
  • The Future of Renewable Energy in Mexico
  • Setting Priorities for Evaluating the Use of Renewable Power Generation: The Case of Saudi Arabia
  • The Innovation of Jordan’s Grid – The Macroeconomic Impact of a Distributed and Renewable Energy Strategy and the Analytics that Drive It
  • Developing Renewables in Africa: Challenges, Opportunities and Case Studies
  • Building Microgrids for Resiliency in Developing and Island Nations

Rnewable energy can bring electricity to the millions of people worldwide who suffer from energy poverty. Solar PV and energy storage microgrids, small-scale hydropower, wind, geothermal, bioenergy and other new technologies are all discussed. Renewable Energy World International Full Conference attendees will have automatic access to the conference sessions for POWER-GEN International, NUCLEAR POWER International and COAL-GEN.

Conference Tracks

Renewable Energy World International is a ‘BIG PICTURE’ conference, covering the full landscape of renewables. Each track is designed to be made horizontally applicable across all technology sectors. Check out basic info on each track below. Want More Details? CLICK HERE for our complete conference program!

Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Track

This track covers smaller commercial and behind-the-meter renewable energy applications, technologies and policies. DER are changing the way energy is created and delivered to the end-user. The two-way ow of electrons gures prominently in these educational sessions.

Energy Storage Track

Sessions in this track cover the growing energy storage industry. Hot topics include frequency regulation, renewable energy firming, peak shaving, backup power and microgrids.

Large Scale Renewables Track

Covering baseload and multi-megawattscale renewable energy projects, policies and applications. This track is designed for people working in the large-scale renewable energy project space or for those who would like to learn more about it.

Global Markets Track

Examines how renewable energy can bring electricity to the millions of people worldwide who suffer from energy poverty. Solar PV and energy storage microgrids, small-scale hydropower, wind, geothermal, bioenergy and other new technologies are all discussed in sessions in this track, empowering those doing business in these markets and arming those who want to with important information they won’t easily find anywhere else.

Utility Integration Track

This track features permitting, regulation, interconnection and other grid impacts of renewable energy. What happens when large amounts of renewable energy surge onto the grid? What about when it falls off due to a large cloud cover over a solar farm or the wind suddenly dying down? These questions and many more like it are discussed and debated in this highly popular track.
