The 27th annual BSR Conference 2019: The New Climate for Business will take place on November 12-14, 2019 in San Jose, California. This leading sustainable business conference is one of the longest-running and most prestigious sustainable business events. This is an even for collaboration and action. This year, they will explore the transformations that are creating a new climate for business and help to pave the way for companies, people, and planet to thrive in this era of rapid change.

This conference creates solutions for a for a just and sustainable world with a new vision for resilient business strategies, governance, management approaches, and collaborations.

The way the world does business and the way the world sees business are undergoing profound change. For the first time in decades, the public is questioning whether the market economy can deliver for society: Employee and CEO activism is on the rise; climate change is impacting people and communities here and now; technology is remaking the nature of work; and the public is both excited and anxious about what technology enables.

With so many changes happening at once, new solutions and new ways of thinking are needed if business is to deliver on the promise of shared prosperity. The stakes are high—businesses that remake their approach in this new environment will prosper, and those that don’t will lose investors, trust, and market share.
